Ella’s tenth year

The biggest news was that we broke ground on a house!! We started building a house that would be perfect for the boys AND for Ella. I’m not sure we would have planned it exactly like it happened, but it’s perfectly perfect for us!

Ella’s joy radiates in all of our ups and downs. We found new things that worked for us, and a lot of things that just don’t work for us, and that’s okay.

We sold our big Sprinter van to an amazing family and decided that the car Plexus was paying for would work perfectly for our family. It’s amazing how God moves at just the right time. Any earlier and we couldn’t have done it, but it was PERFECT timing.

Lots of friends, travel and finding out what it looks like to move as a family of 5…even if we move differently. What I notice the most as I look look back…smiles. We don’t have it easy, but what we are facing can be joyful…and I’d rather find the joy every day. I think Ella feels the same way. She does love the 2 weeks the boys are at #kampthough…it’s all Ella all the time.

We tried glasses AGAIN, for the 3rd or 4th time, and again…they just aren’t worth the hassle and we just don’t see a difference. The boys are getting bigger so they love on her more, help out more, but also have started boring us all weekend with sports games…which will just be ramped up over the years.

Mostly we wake up each day ready to see what God has planned and go to bed each night grateful to have made it to songs and prayers. Joe still prays over her each night for full healing, but we are comfortable with that prayer being answered when we get to Heaven. I pray you find the joy in your day each day.
